how to transfer movies to your kindle fire

We all know you can purchase movies and TV shows from Amazon’s video store, but did you know there’s an easy way to transfer the videos you already own to your Kindle Fire?  Here’s an easy way to do this:

There’s an easy way to increase the Kindle Fire’s battery life and it may even make it easier for you to read content.  The way to do is by setting your Kindle to display inverse text, which means using white text on a black background.  The reason for this is due to the fact that using a black background uses less power than a white background.

Follow these steps and you’ll be on your way to a longer battery life:

1.  Open a book or document on your bookshelf

2.  Tap the screen to see the Options Toolbar

3.  Tap the Text button

4.  Select the Font Style Tab

5.  Under Color Mode, select the middle option (black background, white lettering)

You should now be able to read your docs and books in inverse text.

P.S.  This feature may not work well for books that have many pictures and magazines.

Currently the Kindle Fire only supports Wi-Fi to access the internet or actions that require an internet connection.  So what if you could get 3G signal on the Kindle using your smart phone?  Here’s how to do it:

(For this article I will discussing how to do this using an iPhone, but you can also do this with any smart phone hotspot)

1.  Go to Settings

2.  Tap on Personal Hotspot and turn it “On”

3.  You’ll notice a Wi-Fi Password generated by your phone on the screen.  You can use that one or personalize it by tapping on it.

4.  Go to your Kindle Wi-Fi Menu and your iPhone’s name should appear in the list of networks. (If it doesn’t appear right away wait a few seconds)

5.  You can then connect to it and use your phone’s 3G on your Kindle Fire!
